What is an RSS Feed?
Just imagine if every time your favourite website was updated you received an email with the new content from the website. Well, that’s basically what an RSS feed is. However, you don’t want to clog up your email inbox with too much data. So, an RSS reader is like Outlook Express for RSS feeds (not emails).
At home I use a Mac. My favourite FREE RSS reader for Mac is Net News Wire:

For Windows you can use Outllook Express or try to find an open source program.
